Leslie Martin is from a family that is steeped in musical celebrity, starring in vaudeville and performing on the Tivoli circuit. Leslie sang her first song "Love is a Many Splendid Thing" at the age of two and a half years. Leslie is the eldest of ten children. Her first public performance was at the age of five years and she still holds fond memories of that night. Leslie has a powerful melodious voice and is all of 5' tall.
A keen and competent musician who plays keyboard and lap-steel. Leslie Martin has a diploma in Music Tuition & teaches singing, guitar, piano and Keyboards located In Pakenham, Victoria. Over the years Leslie has performed successfully with her country music band L. J. Lousianna, finally taking time out to have her family. In 2007 it was time to return to the music industry under the guidance of major agency "Three Dimensional Productions".
A recent achievement was performing as the main support to International Star "Miss Wanda Jackson" at Melbourne's Crown Casino. Leslie Martin's charter is to take her particular brand of Australian music to the world. Affectionately known as (The Princess from Pakenham), In recent years Leslie has released the singles "The Boys from Boyup Brook" also "The Australians" and "People Power" (both written by Robert King Crawford), and now a new three title CD for the 100th Anniversary of the Gallipoli Remembrance titled "Glory of Gallipoli". The song has been embraced & endorsed by Legacy and was performed on 31st August 2014 at Federation Square and 1st December 2015 at The Melbourne Town Hall.
Currently Leslie is touring with her new shows Leslie Martin sings "The Seekers" & Leslie Martin sings "Judith Durham".
